Your P&P officer is just a little too excited...

Hey chickadees!

Now is the moment you've all been waiting for. The rumours you've heard about this society are all true. Well, at least one of them is: we really do have merchandise, and we're ordering it this week!

Okay, now that you've had time to compose yourselves, here's the rundown: we're using a new company this year, so that we're in line with YUSU's policy on fairtrade clothing, and the merch is going to be better than *ever*, at the same price it was last year. (Is it me, or am I starting to sound like a Tesco advert in some way?) So, you can have a t-shirt for £12, a polo-shirt for £15, a hoodie - complete with its own concealed iPod and phone pocket, should you judge your hoodies on such a thing (and who doesn't?) - for £20, and finally, new and hitherto unheard-of, you can have a zip-up hoodie - with hidden earphone loops, apparently - also for £20. The merch will all have the society logo on the left breast, and the show logo on the back, and if you'd like a show quote, or your name, or some other thing written for your own nefarious purposes (I promise not to judge, much) on it too, for no extra cost, then either put it in the form at rehearsals, or reply to me at the society account with your order by email.

In the past, we've had a lot of merch being unclaimed at the end of shows and had to pay for it out of the society account, so we're asking if everyone could please pay for their orders before we send off the form this year. I promise not to rob you all and run off somewhere warm and non-snowy with the money. :D

My lovely co-Press and Publicity person Cecily will have the form for you all at the rehearsal tomorrow evening, so please bring your money along then if you'd like to buy things, or alternatively, if you can't make tomorrow's rehearsal, or you're in the tech crew or the orchestra, then please email the society account with what you'd like - including the sizes, colours, and any text you'd like - and I'll collect in the rest of the money over the course of the next week. I know where you live. (I'm guessing York, somewhere. :D) This form is going in by Sunday night, so please let us know between now and then what you'd like, whether by email or form.

To help anyone who's filling it in by email, here's a list of the sizes and colours available in each garment (this will be on the form tomorrow, so no need to memorise it):

Right, that's everything, so - either email the society account with your stuff, and I'll arrange to get the money from you in Week 2, or else bring your money tomorrow night and write down everything you'd like on the form, and don't forget to do it by SUNDAY night, so that's the 17th. Be on your guard. Thanks guys!

Love and militant (but fun) merchandising,
Morv
