Dear all,
The run-through last night sounded fantastic, thanks to all! So we don't lose any impetus over the holidays, please look over any music you had problems with, and make good use of the resources James told you about. If you weren't there or didn't manage to get the details, please email the account and we will send you the information you need.
When we get back we will be starting choreography, so please get off-copy as much as possible- it's surprisingly difficult to dance with your head in a book. To those who learnt the tango, please keep practising! As requested, James and I will upload a video of it over Christmas so you can practise partner-less.
On a related topic, I'm sure you'll appreciate that sometimes we really will need every cast member present in order to choreograph. If you miss the initial rehearsal where we block it, please take note that you might end up not being the scene, because we simply can't re-block everything each time someone new comes along. Term 2 will also correspond with more frequent rehearsals, which will probably be during the day on Sunday!
Also, someone left a Sainsbury's bag with two scores in last night. Upon looking up the number, it seems that they belonged to someone who wasn't even at the rehearsal, so there has been a mix-up somewhere, but if you left them, please let me know ASAP and I might be able to get them to you.
Your festive directors,
-Anna, James, Jenny and Mike
