Chorus and Principals
Even if you've never thought of performing on stage or acted before, we’d love to have you. We don't audition for our chorus!
Orchestra
Our shows use a live orchestra and for that we need musicians. Our Musical Director will be delighted to hear from you
Technical / Backstage Crew
Putting on a show requires a large team of backstage and technical crew. Don’t let the word technical put you off, tasks include sewing, painting (some artistic, some not so), set construction, backstage management, lighting, sound engineering, and helping with anything you like. Experience is not necessary but is certainly welcome. If you’re interested and willing to get stuck in, we will find plenty for you to do and learn as part of the technical crew.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are usually on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Set building
Set building sessions are not just for technical people. Everyone can come along for as long as they can afford to construct, paint, sew, design and hold things. There is usually music, treats and something to do for the most part. We're in the process of building an entirely new set for Sorcerer 2010!
