Week 9 - Setbuilding and Social
Hello all! I hope everyone is coping with the last few weeks of term and looking forward to CHRISTMAS!The end of term may be approaching, but there's still a lot going on and a lot to do. We are having our first setbuilding of term this Saturday from 10-6 in Goodricke Hall (opposite McQ's) Please try and come along for even just an hour or so - we have a lot of set to make and the more people that help out, the easier it will be. It's good fun - you get to take out any frustrations you may have with a hammer - and you get to see the fruits of your labour on stage in February, and really, what more could you ask for?
Secondly, since Christmas is fast approaching we have our CHRISTMAS SOCIAL next Thursday after rehearsal. We will be heading to the Willow - a chinese buffet and cheesy disco in town. G&S have been going to the Willow since...well, forever really, and it's something of a tradition. It's certainly an experience, but we love it. After rehearsal next week, we will be getting taxis into town for some Christmas Willow disco goodness and...interesting chinese food!
So that's Setbuilding on Saturday - please try to turn up at some point for at least a little while, and the Willow Social next week. Looks like our social calendars are sorted then ;-)
